Buck Belue played Quarterback at UGA from 1978 to 1981. In 1980, he led the Bulldogs to a 12–0 perfect regular season record and to a National Championship! The DAWGS defeated Notre Dame Notre Dame in the 1980 Sugar Bowl to win their first National Championship!

Joe Hamilton set ACC career records for total offense (10,640 yards), touchdown passes (65) and total touchdowns (83) while at GA Tech. He was the 1999 Heisman Trophy Runner-Up, a 1st Team All-American, and was drafted to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Terrence Edwards is a Georgia Bulldog with a legacy! Edwards owned the SEC record for total receiving yards (3,093), ranked second in receptions (204) and in his senior year he broke the 1,000 yard receiving mark and is still the only Bulldog WR ever to achieve that!
