TONIGHT: Atlanta Braves & Make-A-Wish Georgia to Grant 14-Year-Old Jake Kowalzyk’s Wish to Become a ‘Brave for a Day’

WHAT: The Atlanta Braves and Make-A-Wish Georgia will welcome 14-year-old Jake Kowalzyk and his family to Truist Park on Monday, July 11th to grant Jake’s wish to become a “Brave for the day.” An Atlanta native, Jake is currently in remission from Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia.

Jake will sign a one-day contract with Braves manager, Brian Snitker in the Braves press conference room to become an official member of the Braves for the day. Following the signing, Jake will take arrival photos on his way to the Braves Clubhouse for a special tour. Jake will then watch Batting Practice alongside Braves Coaches and serve as the Honorary Team Captain ahead of the Atlanta Braves – New York Mets game.
