Today Jeff’s focus is on the importance of having processes established throughout any business. Processes increase efficiency, consistency, and awareness (who’s responsible for what). Once processes are in place and the team training on them, the owner’s time is less consumed putting out fires or answering “who does what” kinds of questions. We say systematize the routine, humanize the exceptions.

Action’s definition of a successful business is a “commercial, profitable enterprise that runs without the owner.” That’s only possible if the owner hires the right people (Rockstars) and has adopted processes throughout the business.
