BUCK BELUE
ATLANTA, Ga – The Georgia Bulldogs need a victory over Auburn on the road Saturday to clinch a spot in the SEC Championship Game and stay in the College Football Playoff mix. However, Coach Smart’s Bulldogs are currently 0-3 against the SEC West teams on the road.

So, how do they find a way to win at Jordan-Hare Stadium? The answer: give the ball to D’Andre Swift.

Swift has been a Tiger killer! Last season, D’Andre went for over 200 total yards on Auburn. In the 2018 SEC Championship Game, Swift got 7 carries (playing behind Chubb & Michel) and went for over 100 total yards. The Bulldogs won both matchups.

Coach Steele, the Auburn DC is aware of this, obviously. Against Auburn, Swift averages 10.4 yards per carry and over 10 yards per touch against Auburn. His Auburn highlight reel includes two explosive TD runs, which Steele has bad dreams about.

This will be a 25-touch day for D’Andre Swift on Saturday. By the way, he needs 79 yards to break 1,000 rushing yards for the season. Good chance he’s going to get it.

One thing is for sure…Auburn will be happy when it’s over and Swift is off to the NFL in January.
