ATLANTA – With massive promise last year, Tua Tagovailoa suffered from various different injuries.  Going into the 2019 season, Bama fans and college football fans everywhere have one major question, can Tua stay healthy?

According to Tua, the devastating loss to Clemson in the National Championship Game last year has taught him to be a better quarterback than ever before.  If he is injured though, that may not matter.

As the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy this year, Tua is expected to pick apart opposing defenses as he did most of last season.  He says that he has also learned from the loss to Clemson and his a better player because of it.

Another quarterback with great potential who had injury problems was Tony Romo.  He improved to a level in which Dallas Cowboys fans thought that he would lead them to a Super Bowl.  Then Romo suffered injuries on an almost annual basis.  Tony finally retired and became a commentator.

Though it is too soon to know if this is Tua’s future, Bama fans are worried.  Fortunately for Bama, Tua’s younger brother Taulia is their backup and has a better arm then Tua.  However, Taulia’s accuracy has yet to be tested in an in game scenario.

With college football kickoff just over a month away, fans will see if Tua is healthy on August 31st as the Crimson Tide travel to Mercedes-Benz Stadium here in Atlanta to take on Duke in the Chik-Fil-A Kickoff game.
