After a rough year for both sports fans and small businesses, news of MLB moving the All-Star Game and Draft out of Atlanta stung a little harder. It is hard to believe that a year after losing the Final Four due to Covid, this community has again lost out on Tens of Millions of dollars in economic activity.  As one of the few remaining locally owned media companies, and Atlanta’s Small Business station, 680 The Fan is again taking action on behalf of this great community.

We are proud to announce the Summer Classic FANfest at Cumberland Mall.  On Saturday July 10th, the day The Fan was supposed to celebrate hosting our first All-Star game in more then 20 years, we will be holding an all-new event.  This FREE event will celebrate the long history of baseball in Atlanta, and with the help of our fans, support the small businesses of Cobb County.  We will have live music, baseball games, autograph signings, food and drinks, and plenty of space for our clients and partners to interact with fans.

Sponsorships are available and we can use some help from the community to cover some of the costs attached including, staging, fencing, etc.
