Atlanta Braves Country Road Trip to Travel Across Braves Country Spring & Summer 2024

ATLANTA (March 11, 2024) – The Atlanta Braves are taking the Truist Park experience on the road with the Braves Country Road Trip this spring and summer. The Braves Country Road Trip will travel through Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, South Carolina, and North Carolina from March to September. The Braves will start the trip on March 23 with a visit to the International Cherry Blossom Festival in Macon, GA. The road trip will also include a visit to Summerhill, Atlanta’s oldest neighborhood and site of Hank Aaron’s record-breaking 715th home run, on Thursday, March 28th for an Opening Day Block Party.

Each stop will feature a “Pose at the Plate” experience where fans can step into a replica of Truist Park and pose for their own customizable baseball card. Fans will receive a printout of their baseball card as well as a digital copy to share with family and friends. The Braves will also hand out branded swag and items for participating fans. Additionally, the Atlanta Braves will engage in community service projects at select spots throughout Braves Country.

Braves Announce Revised 2021 Spring Training Schedule

29-game slate begins Sunday, February 28

ATLANTA – The Atlanta Braves and Major League Baseball today announced the club’s revised 2021 Grapefruit League schedule. The Braves’ 29-game slate is scheduled to begin on Sunday, February 28 in Port Charlotte against the defending American League champion Tampa Bay Rays.

All of Atlanta’s 29 games will be played against five different teams – the Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Minnesota Twins, Pittsburgh Pirates and Tampa Bay.

The schedule features 14 games at the Braves’ spring facility, CoolToday Park in North Port, Fla. The home opener is slated for Tuesday, March 2 at 1:05 p.m. ET against Minnesota. All day games will begin at 1:05 ET. Atlanta will play two home games under the lights, first on Friday, March 19 against Minnesota, and then on Saturday, March 27 against Baltimore. The first pitch of both of those games is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. ET.

Atlanta will wrap up its spring schedule with consecutive games against Boston, including the finale on Tuesday, March 30 in Fort Myers.

The three-time defending National League East Champions will open the regular season in Philadelphia on April 1, the fourth time in five seasons the Braves begin the regular season on the road.
