The 2022 All-Star Voting is now underway. Los Angeles (Dodgers) will host the All-Star game for the first time since 1980, so the Atlanta Braves used the site of the game to inspire their marketing efforts to fans for player voting.
The Braves’ creative and marketing teams, the same folks that designed the unforgettable 2021 World Series Championship ring, were at it again and created a campaign based on the personalities and personal interests of the players.
“The All-Star voting campaign is one of the ways we can support our players and help get them the recognition they deserve. We are always looking for ways to innovate and push the boundary of how and where we are able to connect with Braves Country,” said Adam Zimmerman, Senior Vice President, Marketing, Atlanta Braves.
As part of the campaign, the Braves have produced a series of movie posters and trailers that they hope will get fans excited and get them to vote. “This campaign is fun and innovative and allows us to reach fans in a new way, in channels and locations that they aren’t expecting. When fans are going to the theaters to watch the latest summer blockbuster, our hope is that they see our posters and trailers and are inspired to vote to send our players to Hollywood for the All-Star Game this summer. And hopefully they catch and enjoy the little ‘easter eggs’ we placed in the creative,” added Zimmerman.
