#5 – establishes an internship program designed to assist members of the community to acquire skills needed for broadcast employment.

For this reporting period DBC had 22 interns for promotions, 1 intern for Production and 10 interns for programming department.

Supervisor of this program:  Scott McFarlane Promotions Director, Rob Jenners Production Director, and  Jim Mahanay Operations Manager

 #7 – Participate in scholarship programs directed to students desiring to pursue a career in broadcasting (although it is not necessary for the employment unit to be involved in every aspect of the program, they must provide meaningful involvement)

Station Partnership with the Connecticut School of Broadcasting scholarship program: Erica Boyzo, Corey Carpenter, Marilyn Echols, Lamont Junious, Trei Taylor, Monai Bell-Carson.
