Rude....

I think this incognito case is a case of a lovers quarrel.  I think incognito is one of those roid rage homosexuals that cant admit it and martín is a scorned lover that is hurt because Richie wont acknowledge their true relationship.  In effect, incognito is bullying martín because he is afraid of being outed.   Think about it Rude.....

Chris -

I was listening to your show this morning on my way to work.  You were talking about “Professionalism in the workplace” in the NFL and the Richie Incognito “bullying” situation.

I think you and Parry are both missing the point.  John Maxwell, Christian book writer wrote a book titled, There’s No Such Thing As Business Ethics.  His point being that it’s all personal.  You either have personal ethics and you carry it into your business or you don’t have ethics and you carry that lack of ethics into your business.

The analogy is that football players either have personal respect, faith, ethics, morality, honor, etc. and they carry that into the locker room , or they don’t.  Today, our culture promotes disrespect for the opinions, lifestyle, faith, beliefs of others.  [Think Tim Tebow.]  It teaches this through violent video games (??) like Tour of Duty and slasher/vampire movies and graphic TV programs.  Now, couple that “cultural indoctrination” with a violent game like football – where “winning is the only thing” - and what would we expect to happen?

Just saying..

Enjoy the show, Rude. You guys do a nice job. Have to admit that it bothered me a bit though when you were poking fun at the caller this morning who was giving a shout out to Mucho Macho Man and Gary Stevens for their Breeder's Cup victory. Thoroughbred racing is a great sport and worthy of a few minutes of serious conversation on the air. I grew up in Lexington, KY and love the beauty and tradition of horse racing. Pretty rare to have a caller on this topic. Wish you'd handled that a bit differently. No biggie but thought I'd voice my opinion. Have fun doing your thing. I'll be listening.

Regards,
Andrew from Johns Creek

Dear Mr. Rude, thanks so much for taking my call this morning and naming me your racing insider. Immediately after my call I spoke to Dean & Patti Reeves who actually live in the same neighborhood as Mike Smith. They would love to call into your show and they are the best people I've ever met and Dean is a big alumni for Georgia Tech as well. In addition we are in early stages of planning a star studded cup ceremony which we'd like to invite you to. Also, in case you didn't know Macho is the most popular horse in the country with over 7,000 FB fans and with his help we are going to bring racing to Georgia and would love to fill you in on the amazing progress we are making.

Below are some links to fill you in more about how big a win this was fro so many people.

Best regards,

Steve

It sure looked like the Bears' McClellin turned Rodgers and drove the shoulder into the ground intentionally. He could have easily dragged him down. Instead, it looked like he did a little extra. I was surprised no one brought it up last night.

In listening to your show this morning I was in disbelief that Perry has a job on talk show radio when he does nothing but shovel a biased opinion which the facts don’t support.

Perry should know that injuries are a part of football, and that you cannot have it both ways when comparing Alabama’s game with A&M, then saying Clemson’s win over UGA doesn’t lose credibility because UGA had players hurt. His bias towards Alabama is absolutely ridiculous, and his statement that “he and Nick Saban are done” following the exit from Miami is laughable.

He also tries to throw back at Alabama because we played Ole Miss, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee… all of which are conference opponents. We played VT which is an ACC opponent, and I don’t know any school in the US that is playing multiple OOC big name opponents. FSU and Oregon certainly are not doing that.

The OOC schedule of Florida State is Bethune Cookman (8-1 in the MEAC), Nevada (3-6), Idaho (1-8), and Florida (4-4). There are two teams in FSU’s division with a winning record, Clemson/Maryland. That means that FSU will play 8 conference games this year, and face three opponents with winning records.

Alabama has 4/6 division opponents with a winning record. I will admit the luck of the draw from the east this year provided Alabama with more manageable games against Tennessee/Kentucky, but are Pittsburgh, NC ST, Maryland, or Wake Forest any better than Tennessee?

Alabama’s OOC Opponents VT (6-3), Colorado State (4-5), Georgia State (0-9), and UTC (7-2).

So what is the difference between Bethune Cookman/UTC, Colorado State/Nevada, Georgia State/Idaho, or VT and Florida… If anything I would argue Alabama has played a tougher OOC schedule than FSU will play.

Lastly, I look at Oregon, who has five conference opponents with winning records. Their OOC has Nicholls State (4-4), Virginia (2-7), and that horrible team from the SEC Tennessee (4-4) that Perry loves to hate.

I really cannot see how you can argue the point of how great a schedule FSU has played, and how Alabama has just played a bunch of nobody’s. Seems to me that the two schedules may even tilt in Alabama’s favor by the time the season is over.

2.  Richie ain't so Incognito any more is he?

3.  Let's give Tech some love - they have the best record of any of the local teams.  At worst they will finish 7-5 and with a little luck (against UGA) they might even be 8-4

4.  At least one undefeated team is going to be left out this year (FSU or OSU)
