ATLANTA (December 19, 2018) – Individual and group tickets for the 2019 Chop Fest Gala presented by Northside Hospital will go on sale today, December 19 at noon. Guests will join the team on Friday, January 18 at the Coca-Cola Roxy to honor this past season’s award winners, celebrate the newest Braves Hall of Fame class, and enjoy dinner with coaches and players. For the first time, fans will be able to purchase general admission show-only tickets to the event for $50. The event leads into Chop Fest the following day at SunTrust Park and The Battery Atlanta.

“The events surrounding Chop Fest Weekend are highly anticipated moments for Braves fans to celebrate the past, present and future of the team,” said Derek Schiller, Braves President and CEO. “The gala allows our fans the first opportunity to dine and enjoy a night up close and personal with our 2019 Braves players in addition to celebrating our newest Hall of Fame inductees.”

Terry Pendleton and Hugh Duffy will be inducted into the Braves Hall of Fame. Signed by the Braves for his leadership and defense, Pendleton made an immediate impact, winning the 1991 MVP award and helping his team go from worst to first to capture the first NL pennant in Atlanta franchise history. The third baseman also won the NL batting title that season with a .319 average, while leading the league with 187 hits. In 1992 he produced another outstanding season that included a trip to the World Series, a runner-up finish in MVP voting, a Gold Glove, and a NL All-Star team selection. He was also a member of the Braves major league coaching staff for 16 seasons. From 1892-1900, Duffy knocked in 100 runs or more seven times, and was a two-time home run leader in 1894 and 1897. The outfielder starred on four championship teams and is second in franchise history in batting average (.336) and stolen bases (331), and seventh in RBI (927).

The evening will honor the 2018 award winners, including National League Manager of the Year Brian Snitker, National League Rookie of the Year Ronald Acuña and the 2018 Gold Glove recipients. Fans will have the opportunity to vote for Hitting Performance of the Year, Pitching Performance of the Year and Clutch Moment of the Year. A new category this year is Fan of the Year, celebrating the best fan in Braves Country in 2018. Voting is live now at www.braves.com/gala and submissions will close at midnight on January 10.

The Chop Fest Gala presented by Northside Hospital will also include a Q&A with Braves Manager Alex Anthopoulos, player round table discussions as well as a silent auction.

There are multiple pricing options for guests to enjoy an evening with the team. Guests can reserve a table of nine seats and dinner with a Braves player or coach for $2,500 or purchase individual dinner tickets for $300. General admission show-only tickets are available for $50 as well as a VIP Box, which includes a reserved four-top table, for $300. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation. For more information and to purchase tickets, please visit www.braves.com/gala.
