A PARTY OF “TEN OR MORE POINTS” PROPORTIONS

This is no time to sit on the fence. You are either all in or get out. The playoffs is not the time to waffle. Make a call. I’ll make mine.

The Atlanta Falcons are going to win vs. Seattle. They are going to win by ten points or more. You won’t be crying in your beer on Saturday night. Get ready to party.

Falcons 27-17

There are many reasons to like the Falcons on Saturday. Here is why I do:

  1. The Falcons offense is prolific. They average over 33 points a game. If they are even held down a bit by Seattle, they still get into the mid 20’s.
  2. The Seahawks offense does not travel. This is a team has averaged just 16 points a game on the road this season. In four of their road games they averaged ten points  or less. That’s mediocre to poor.
  3. Russell Wilson was in the bottom quarter of NFL QB’s on the road. He averaged just a 48 QBR away from home all year! He had less than a 50 QBR in 5 of his 8 road games. He had less than a 39 in half of them.
  4. The Seahawks offensive line stinks. They are arguably one of the worst 5 units in the NFL.

I’m confident that this was the best possible matchup for Atlanta.

I look forward to discussing the NFC Championship Game with you next week!
